How do raids work on Twitch?

Sends everyone on your channel page to a raid target channel when raid. If you are offline at the time of the raid, your channel will also host the targeted channel.


How to raid on Twitch?

To raid someone on Twitch, follow the steps below:


1. Go to https://www.twitch.tv and login with your Twitch handle.


2. Click on the profile icon on the right upper corner and click on the Channel.

3. Click on Chat.

4. Type "/raid [channel name]" in the Chat textbox and click the Chat button.

Note: Replace [channel name] with the name of the channel you want to raid.


5. Click on Raid Now button.

After clicking on the Chat button a popup will appear at the top of the chat. After 10 seconds, click on the Raid Now button to raid on Twitch. If no option is selected, the raid will start automatically.


If this chat textbox method doesn't work, click on the Profile icon and go to the Creator Dashboard and then click Raid Channel and choose a channel from the suggested list or search for a channel to raid on Twitch.
